Back to basics

It’s not often that a brand decides to go back to basics with their branding, especially if they are well known and established.  I was pleasantly surprised to hear that PG Tips had made the brave move to strip back their busy brand identity to unveil their refreshingly clean and crisp packaging.  The dated and busy identity has been replaced with a crisp clean feel which will offer standout on shelf and a much more modern and premium feel to the brand.

Of course with our fair share of tea rounds at GRIN HQ, tea is a hot topic throughout the day and combined with a clean, refreshed brand identity this news was right up our street.  It’s interesting to see that various household brands are following suit by stripping back their busy brand identities and going back to basics with a clean and simple look and feel which offers them great standout amongst their competitors.
