As with most consumers, every now and again I found myself falling prey to creative packaging, especially when it contains beauty related products. Regardless of being surrounded by weird and wonderful packaging ideas at GRIN HQ I still get drawn into purchasing products which have standout on shelf and provide very little value for money (especially as I thrive to be a money saving expert).
In an industry as saturated as the beauty sector, there’s no doubt that designers are having to work harder then ever to create innovative, elegant and clever packaging that needs to grab the attention of a shopper within seconds. Beauty brands are also working harder to disrupt the shopper outside of their normal retail environments to remain top of mind for consumers and to increase interaction with the brand.
