We have been working with Wolverhampton City Council to rejuvenate the city market’s brand identity, as they look to refresh their market stalls within an innovative layout of permanent branded shipping containers on the outdoor Market Square. This has provided the perfect opportunity to rebrand the three markets within Wolverhampton, and nearby towns of Bilston and Wednesfield, and communicate a positive city-wide message to promote a sense of place and the heritage of the service.
With two of our designers coming from Wolverhampton, this was a great project to draw on personal experiences in order to develop a relevant visual look and feel, alongside a suitable tone of voice for messaging. We have developed a new identity which we think will help to bring the three markets together whilst helping to re-position the identity with a fresh and vibrant look and feel as it reopens with a brand new offer in late Spring.
Here is a sneak peak of the branded shipping containers being installed on site. The new social space which is being created will be exclusive to Wolverhampton and will create an environment which can be celebrated. We will reveal more after the official launch!
