We spend in excess of 40 hours a week at work. Sat at our desks, next to the same people, day in and day out. Now, most people would probably feel that this is more than enough punishment already and would graciously accept the weekend away from their colleagues hoping that Monday morning alarm would never sound again. But not us – even sat next to Dan for this long – not us.
It’s a testament to the GRIN family that we’re more than willing to spend our free time together when a new activity, bar or exhibition arises, or we’re at least too polite to say no to anything. So last weekend we found ourselves heading over to Cliff Lakes in Kingsbury to don our wetsuits in what could only be described as GRIN’s alternative to Total Wipeout. With a fun-filled morning of slips, trips and the occasional show of athleticism (probably..), we found ourselves holding our stomachs in laughter more than we could hold onto the obstacles and we can’t wait to do it again next year with, hopefully, the whole team.
This is what makes us more of a family and less of your typical studio. To work at a place where the company we surround ourselves in is truly what makes this job so special and is a great luxury of which we truly appreciate.
